This Privacy Policy explains how AARYA CLOTHING, a proprietorship of Jouly Jain ("Aarya Clothing", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares, keeps and deletes personal data when you use our website aaryaclothing.in and the Aarya Clothing Android app (package in.aaryaclothing.aarya_app). Both use the same account and the same systems, so this policy covers both.

We process personal data under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Data we collect

Account and login

  • Mobile phone number (used for one-time-password (OTP) login by SMS or WhatsApp)
  • Name and email address (optional, if you add them)
  • Account ID and login/session records

Orders and delivery

  • Delivery addresses (name, phone, address, city, state, PIN code, landmark)
  • Order and purchase history, invoices, cart and wishlist
  • GSTIN, only if you enter one for a business invoice

Support chat and photos

  • Messages you send in customer support chat
  • Photos you choose to upload in chat (for example of a damaged or wrong item). The app only opens your camera or gallery when you tap to attach a photo; we do not access other photos.

Device and usage data

  • IP address, browser or device type, operating system and app version
  • A device identifier generated by our login system to recognise trusted devices
  • Basic app/website interactions and performance measurements (for example page load times and errors), collected by our own servers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
  • Notification permission status (Android), used only to show order updates

2. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.). Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS controls. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. We receive and keep the payment status, amount, payment method type and Razorpay order/payment reference IDs for each order.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and secure your account and log you in with OTP
  • To process, ship and deliver orders and send order updates (SMS, WhatsApp, email or app notification)
  • To answer support requests in chat
  • To issue GST invoices and keep the accounting records the law requires
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the website and app working and secure

4. Who we share data with

We share only what each service provider needs to do its job:

  • Razorpay - payment processing
  • Courier and logistics partners - name, phone and delivery address for shipping
  • SMS / WhatsApp and email providers - to deliver OTPs and order messages
  • Hosting and cloud storage providers - to run our servers and store product and chat images
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities - only when the law requires it

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS between your device and our servers. Login tokens in the app are stored in Android encrypted storage. Access to customer data is limited to authorised staff.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account, profile, addresses, wishlist and chat: until you delete your account (or ask us to)
  • Orders, GST invoices and payment records: up to 8 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the CGST Act, 2017 and the Income-tax Act, 1961
  • OTP codes: a few minutes; login sessions: until they expire or you log out
  • Server security logs: up to 90 days

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: in the app go to Profile > Delete account, or on the website visit aaryaclothing.in/delete-account.

When you delete your account we delete your name, phone number, email, saved addresses, wishlist, reviews, support chat messages and chat photos, and we sign you out on all devices. Order and invoice records are kept for up to 8 years for GST and income-tax purposes, with your name, phone and address removed from the order record (issued tax invoices are kept as issued). 8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise these rights, by contacting us using the details below. You can update your name and email in your profile at any time.

9. Cookies

The website uses essential cookies to keep you logged in, protect forms (CSRF) and remember your cart and theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Children

Our website and app are not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
